Ecclesiastes 5:3 KJV “For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool’s voice is known by multitude of words.”
God says that a fool is recognized by his use of many words. Have you ever been around people who talk so much you just wish they would shut up? You might as well stop wishing because they’re not gonna be quiet, hah hah hah. Then there’s the type that are smooth talkers. They charm and flatter you with their lips. The best we can do is pray for patience in dealing with these folks and pray for them. Also we must avoid becoming intertwined with folks God calls fools. That’s right, God’s word says not to be yoked with such persons:
Proverbs 20:19 KJV “He that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore MEDDLE NOT with him that flattereth with his lips.”
Proverbs 29:5 KJV “A man that flattereth his neighbour SPREADETH A NET for his feet.”
One of the benefits of having godly wisdom is all you have to do is listen when people speak and they will tell you who they are.
Ecclesiastes 10:14 KJV “A fool also is full of words: a man cannot tell what shall be; and what shall be after him, who can tell him?”
Yet the fool babbles like he/she knows everything.
Proverbs 10:19 MEV “In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, but he who restrains his lips is wise.”
When a person talks too much God says sin is present, and there is no lack of it. Be very careful with those who love to flap their jaws. Remember, when folks talk they are telling you who they are. Accept what you hear, accept the truth. Even the smoothest tongue cannot remain hidden:
Luke 6:45 KJV “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.”
1 John 4:8 MEV “Anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”
No guys, love is not that fuzzy wuzzy feeling inside. It’s not experiencing your first kiss. Love is God and God is love. Pure love can feel good too. But too often it is confused with our feelings. Listen to what God (who is love) says love is:
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 MEV “Love suffers long and is kind; love envies not; love flaunts not itself and is not puffed up, does not behave itself improperly, seeks not its own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil; rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.”
You and I just read what love is. And that is what we must aspire to be. You see, God’s love grows inside of us and matures. This is a process for every believer. I can think of many times I was the total opposite of what we read above. If you’re honest with yourself you can too. People around us got hurt by us when we didn’t love. There’s some who will say that love hurts or it hurts to love. Though there is some truth in that saying folks are mainly talking about their feelings. The full truth is love always helps others and ourselves even when our feelings get hurt. There is nothing more powerful than true love. Remember, God is Love. Learn God’s love and let His love flow through you. You will then be walking in infinite power.
LOVE GROWS OR DECREASES
1 Thessalonians 3:12 MEV “And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all men, even as we do for you.”
Matthew 24:12 NASB “Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold.”
The two passages above show that love in us can either grow or decrease. The sad truth is only a few folk’s love will grow. We know this because Jesus tells us that, “most people’s love will grow cold.” “Because lawlessness is increased,” Jesus said that love for others, for self, and for God would grow cold in most. Lawlessness means to live without laws, no rules or boundaries. Wouldn’t you say that describes our generation? Popular culture says, “Do as thou wilt,” ‘Do what you wonna do,’ or ‘Make your own laws.’ But look at the price tag that has come with this type of thinking: we live in a mean, hateful, unloving world where everyone is basically for self. We are stepping on each other like cockroaches. ‘If you’re not for what I want feel the bottom of my shoe and die!’ There is no love in the mainstream. Having no rules hurts mankind.
FREEDOM FROM RULES IS NOT LOVE
There are some who will argue that having no rules or living in a lawless society is the most loving thing we can do. On the contrary Jesus was onced asked by an expert in the law what is the greatest commandment or rule of law. Listen to what Jesus says:
Matthew 22:35-40 NIV “One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Love is the greatest commandment Jesus says. Hence love is the rule of law. What a different world it would be if we all followed this rule. Just take a moment to think about it.
Imagine a building without any structure or rules. It’s existence and survival would be impossible. How can the building stand if there’s no structure or laws holding it up? And how can a building last if there is no foundational structure that it’s built on? The building would collapse. Unfortunately that’s what’s happening to our world today. Due to our, “Do as thou wilt,” no rules no laws attitude our world is rapidly collapsing. We are spiraling down out of control into a deeper and deeper blackhole. And some think it’s progress. The same is true with us as individuals. We are falling into a pit of which there is no return:
Matthew 7:24-27 MEV “Whoever hears these sayings of Mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock. And the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house. And it did not fall, for it was founded a rock. And every one who hears these sayings of Mine and does not do them will be likened to a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house. And it fell. And its fall was great.”
Those who hear Jesus’ teachings (rules), and puts them into practice are considered wise builders. When the storms of life come and beat up against that house (or person) they will still be standing through it all because they built on the good foundation; the rock, who is Christ Himself. But those who could care less for Jesus rules or teachings after hearing them are building their houses on sand. They have no foundation at all, and no protection to weather the storms. When the storms of life come and beat up against them they will fall. And not only will they fall Jesus’ says their collapse will be great; a fall of no return.
In conclusion guys, living a life of love includes following rules, God’s laws. And we know the most important rule is to love God with our whole heart mind and soul, and the second is to love our neighbor as ourselves.
John 14:23 NIV “Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
1 John 5:3 NIV “In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome.”
Remember, God is love (1 John 4:8), and all of God’s commands give us structure, stability, and strength. They keep us standing. Hence growing in love is what we should aspire. Only love will enable us to weather the storms.
1 John 3:10 KJV “In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.”
When you hear about children of the devil you may think about those in the occult. But that’s not who God’s word says the children of the devil are. God says that ANYONE who doesn’t live righteously and does not love their brother is not God’s child. This is a child of the Devil (literally). Now think of how many who profess to be children of God but do not love the brethren or do what is right. They are phony Christians and children of Satan plain and simple.
THE CELL PHONE CASE
The human body and a cell phone case has things in common: they come in different colors, some are slimmer, some are thicker, some are small, some are tall, some look new, some look old and beat up, etcetera. When you see someone using their cell phone that’s in a case you can’t always tell what kind of cell phone it is. They look similar. You don’t know if it’s an iPhone, a Samsung Galaxy, an LG phone, etcetera. Unless the cell phone case has that circle opening in the back sporting the Apple iPhone logo it’s usually hard to tell what it is. The same is true for human beings. We all have the same outward casing, the same body. It’s hard to tell sometimes who’s who judging by outward appearances. But just as there is a big difference between a thousand dollar smartphone and a fifty dollar smartphone there’s a huge difference between the children of God and the children of the Devil that look the same on the outside. Jesus explained better what I’m trying to say this way:
Matthew 13:24-30 NET “He presented them with another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a person who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, an enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away. When the plants sprouted and bore grain, then the weeds also appeared. So the slaves of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Then where did the weeds come from?’ He said, ‘An enemy has done this.’ So the slaves replied, ‘Do you want us to go and gather them?’ But he said, ‘No, since in gathering the weeds you may uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At harvest time I will tell the reapers, “First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned, but then gather the wheat into my barn.’”
JESUS EXPLAINS THE PARABLE
Matthew 13:36-43 NET “Then he left the crowds and went into the house. And his disciples came to him saying, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.” He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world and the good seed are the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. As the weeds are collected and burned with fire, so it will be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather from his kingdom everything that causes sin as well as all lawbreakers. They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. The one who has ears had better listen!”
Jesus said the field in His parable represents the world. Many apply this parable to true and false believers in the church. They think the field represents the church. Jesus did not say that. He said the field is the world, hence He is talking about the state of every person that has ever lived in this world. They are either sown good seed or bad seed. Jesus says the one who sowed the good seed is the Son Of Man; Him. And the good seed that sprouted into wheat represents the people who belong to God’s kingdom; God’s children. The bad seed or seeds that sprouted into weeds are the people of the evil one; Satan the Devil. And as scripture says they are his children. So God’s children (the wheat) and the Devil’s children (the weeds) are in this world growing side by side one another until harvest time (the end of the age).
Did you know that when wheat and weeds begin to sprout it’s hard to tell the differnce between the two? Yes, they both look alike. In fact they look so much alike that Jesus tells His servants not to uproot the weeds yet because you might uproot the wheat also. On the outside human beings may appear alike but they are not the same. There’s the children of God and the children of the devil.
Jesus says that the harvest in His parable represents the end of the age or the end of the world. The wheat and the weeds will grow together until harvest time. Then when they will be easily distinguishable from one another the weeds will be pulled up, thrown into the fire, and burned. But the wheat (the childfren of God) will be preserved by Jesus. “Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father,” forever.
All Biblical proof shows that we are at the end of the age or in the last days. All things written will be fulfilled. The people you see every day look like you, talk like you, walk like you, but are not like you that is if you are truly a believer in Jesus Christ. The people of this world have Satan’s DNA. They are His children. God Himslef said to the serpent (the devil) that he would have a seed or offspring and that his offspring would be at enmity with the seed of the woman (God’s seed or offspring):
Genesis 3:14-15 KJV “And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”
This is too far fetched for people to believe because they don’t believe God. Hence they will always look at things by mere outward appearances. Since we all look the same; have the same earth-suit so to speak it sounds ridiculous to think some of us are children of God and children of the Devil. But what truly matters is not what we look like on the outside. It’s who we are on the inside of these bodies that counts. The soul and spirit inside the outward casing (the body) is who the real person is.
The Bible calls our bodies tents, houses, and temples. Who is living inside of the house? Who is worshipped inside of the temple? The Devil or God? Here is where upon further inspection we distiguish between the true children of God and the children of the Devil. If this ever becomes difficult just remember the test:
1 John 3:10 KJV “In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.”
Mark 5:25-34 HCSB “A woman suffering from bleeding for 12 years had endured much under many doctors. She had spent everything she had and was not helped at all. On the contrary, she became worse. Having heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His robe. For she said, “If I can just touch His robes, I’ll be made well!” Instantly her flow of blood ceased, and she sensed in her body that she was cured of her affliction. At once Jesus realized in Himself that power had gone out from Him. He turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My robes?” His disciples said to Him, “You see the crowd pressing against You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ”So He was looking around to see who had done this. Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came with fear and trembling, fell down before Him, and told Him the whole truth. “Daughter,” He said to her, “your faith has made you well. Go in peace and be free from your affliction.’ ”
What an amazingly happy true story that teaches us about faith in Jesus! This woman didn’t feel in order to be healed she needed a showy display like a long prayer or laying on of hands or anything like that. SHE SAID, “IF I CAN JUST TOUCH HIS ROBES, I’LL BE MADE WELL!” She said what she meant and really meant what SHE SAID. There was no doubt in her mind that it would happen as she said. Her actions spoke louder than her words because she fought her way through the crowd to get to Jesus then touched His robes. This lines up exactly with what Jesus teaches:
Mark 11:23 KJV “For verily I say unto you, That WHOSOEVER SHALL SAY unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; AND SHALL NOT DOUBT in his heart, but SHALL BELIEVE that those things WHICH HE SAITH shall come to pass; HE SHALL HAVE WHATSOEVER HE SAITH.”
SAY IT IN FAITH
What worked for this woman can work for any one of us. We simply have to do what she did: believe in the power of Jesus. We like the woman must say our desire (out loud), that’s right, SAY IT just like the woman did. We must speak to our situation in full faith just like Jesus tells us to in order to move mountains. As we seek to GET IN TOUCH WITH JESUS and only Him for help regarding our situations we are guaranteed success if we believe and do not doubt.
Do not seek to reach Jesus through anyone else. This doesn’t work. The woman did not need a go-between between her and Christ. She reached out to Jesus alone. This is where so many fall short. They want God to help them but they’re depending on man to do it. In the Bible God tells us exactly how to get to Him:
Matthew 7:7-8 NIV “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
Jeremiah 29:13 KJV “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
Pro 8:17 NHEB “I love those who love me. Those who seek me diligently will find me.”
John 14:6 KJV “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
THE UNIVERSE MUST OBEY YOU?
Many motivational speakers through their seminars, books, and videos will tell you to think positive thoughts, speak daily affirmations to yourself, and work in harmony with your goals. Then you will have everything you want. “The universe has to obey you,” they say. These motivational speakers (preachers) messages are usually bent on obtaining material wealth. But that’s not what Jesus teaches:
Matthew 6:24 NLT “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.”
And on this teaching, “The universe has to obey you,” God (or who they call the universe) doesn’t have to obey anyone. He created all things, we are His creation. Hence the onus is on us to obey Him or perish.
The woman with the 12 year affliction knew that to have what she wanted she needed to get in touch with Jesus Christ and Him alone. She didn’t seek a motivational speaker or spiritual guru to attain her desire. Satan has many false prophets out here who are spreading lies including the prosperity gospel which is no true gospel at all. The woman with the 12 year affliction teaches us so much about putting faith in God THE RIGHT WAY. May we follow her example by getting in touch with Jesus and receive our heart’s desires.
Psalm 37:4 KJV “Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.”
Psalm 19:1-4 KJV “The heavens declare the glory of God; and THE FIRMAMENT sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a TABERNACLE FOR THE SUN.
Woe, a tabernacle is a tent. God inspired David to write that the sun has a tabernacle or tent. That means that the sun is inside of an enclosed space. Let’s further examine the creation account of Genesis and see if it confirms this:
Genesis 1:1-2 KJV “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”
In the beginning God created heaven and earth. The earth was without form or structure, there was nothing in it, it was dark, and there was only water. God’s spirit moved upon the waters. Next:
Genesis 1:3-8 KJV “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. And God said, Let there be A FIRMAMENT in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made THE FIRMAMENT, and divided the WATERS WHICH WERE UNDER the firmament from the WATERS WHICH WERE ABOVE the firmament: and it was so. And GOD CALLED THE FIRMAMENT HEAVEN. And the evening and the morning were the second day.”
Some more interesting things happened. After God created light and night and day He created the firmament. God divided the waters below from the waters above, and the space in between these waters He called the firmament, which God also called Heaven. Keep in mind that God separated waters above from waters below, and called the space in the middle the firmament and heaven. Next:
Genesis 1:9-18 KJV “And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the third day. And God said, Let there be LIGHTS IN THE FIRMAMENT of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for LIGHTS IN THE FIRMAMENT OF THE HEAVEN to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made TWO GREAT LIGHTS; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: HE MADE THE STARS ALSO. And GOD SET THEM IN THE FIRMAMENT of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.”
Woe, the Bible says that after God made the dry land and all vegetation He set the sun, the moon, and the stars, INSIDE OF THE FIRMAMENT; the enclosed space separated by the waters above and the waters (seas) and earth below. This explains why sometimes when you look at the sun you see clouds in front of and BEHIND the sun. Because the sun is in our atmosphere just as clouds are in our atmosphere. The sun is not 93 million miles away in space like we have been taught. It’s in the firmament; the sky, in heaven right above our heads. God said that’s where the stars are too. Stars are not shining lights millions of light years away as we have been told. The Bible says nothing about planets or millions perhaps billions of galaxies in the creation account either. Read the rest of the Genesis creation account and see it for yourself.
Our sun, the moon, the stars, and the whole earth is indeed enclosed in a tent or tabernacle just as David inspired by the Holy Spirit wrote in Psalms 19:4. That tent or tabernacle is God’s firmament.
What else are we being told about our world that isn’t true? And why? Hmmmmm. 😓
